The Free Church has been proclaiming God's Kingdom in the Uists for over 150 years. Whilst our sister congregation, the North Uist, Grimsay and Berneray Free Church, dates back this far, our own congregation was established in 1999. We meet in Lochboisdale in South Uist and in Balivanich in Benbecula.
We don't preach just Religion, but the Reality of a real, life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We believe that this Reality makes a difference that transforms lives. And so our vision is to be a Church at the Heart of the Community, with the Community in its Heart.
